Question: Will my local address book entries convert to Exchange?

Answer: Local address book entries will be converted to the 'Contacts' folder within Outlook, or the 'Address Book' folder in Entourage. However, only entries displayed with a standard SMTP email address (ex: ppete@okstate.edu, pistol.pete@okstate.edu, or ppete@yahoo.com) will convert to Exchange correctly. Entries with a Lotus Notes email address (ex: Pistol Pete/athl/Okstate) will not convert to Exchange.

Local address book ‘Group’ entries that are large in size (ex: more than 100 people) do not convert well. Outlook has a limitation on mailing list size, so large mailing lists may need to be broken into several smaller groups, or replaced with a Listserv mailing list.
