One of the top recommendations from the recent IT Needs Assessment was to review the design and administration policies of our current Active Directory implementation. Information Technology is conducting a review our Active Directory services, architecture, account provisioning, permission delegation, and DNS configuration. The review is being conducted with peer institutions using Active Directory, and with technology managers across the OSU system.

Project Status

As of December 12th, 2005, the Active Directory review is complete. IT Active Directory system administrators continue testing the permission updates to departmental computer OUs, creating an OSU IT Active Directory administrator’s guide, reviewing login script group permissions, and updating the login scripts.
