The OSU Center for Health Sciences (CHS) is merging its Student Information System (SIS) with the combined system used by OSU Stillwater and OSU Tulsa. Efforts must be coordinated between several different departments including Internal Research and Information Management, Scholarships and Financial Aid, Office of the Bursar, CHS Computing Services, and Student Affairs to ensure a smooth transition.

The goals of this project include:

- Determine CHS attribute revisions necessary for merging with central SIS
- Update central SIS tables with new attributes
- Determine how to handle students with duplicate IDs
- Load CHS data into SIS test region
- Convert all current and historical data from the existing system into the new format
- Test and validate all transactions
- Coordinate updates to related systems (ex: Bursar, Financial Aid, O-Key)
- Final conversion of CHS data into the production OSU SIS environment

The conversion of the CHS student data into the production OSU SIS environment was completed on schedule during the weekend of June 11th, 2005.
