Overview

The objective of the OSU/A&M mainframe operating system upgrade is to upgrade the current mainframe operating system, IBM OS/390 2.10, to IBM's next generation operating system, IBM z/OS 1.4. The upgrade is required in order to stay within IBM's recommended upgrade cycle and to ensure that the OSU/A&M mainframe operating system supports the latest features and functionality. Installation of the new operating system will proceed in accordance with IBM's recommended upgrade and migration process.
