Information Technology is making preparations to upgrade the current Oracle Database environment to new hardware. The new environment will show improved performance due to a disk configuration redesign, and an upgrade from the Oracle database release 10.1.0.3 to Oracle database release 10.1.0.4.

As of October 15th, 2005, the upgrade to the new hardware, software, and storage configuration has been successfully completed.
