Email – Faculty and Staff


The email system used by OSU faculty and staff is Microsoft® Office 365™, branded Cowboy Mail


Microsoft® Office 365™ is an email delivery system and a collection of cloud-based applications that coordinates with a number of productivity tools. This suite provides online file storage (through One Drive), SharePoint collaboration, file sharing, online meeting hosting, and more. For example, the built-in online Office suite makes creating and editing documents possible without the need of the full application.

Access to email is either through a client such as Outlook or Entourage for use with desktop computers or laptops. It can also be put on mobile devices.



Getting Started

Employees can sign in to their email through the Internet at using their O-Key credentials. A desktop client  such as Outlook or Entourage can be installed for easy access on desktop-type computers. Cowboy Mail can be installed on mobile devices.
