About

SharePoint is a web-based application for storing shared documents. SharePoint is highly configurable so its use varies greatly. A chief feature is that it provides an on online workspace that supports collaborative work.

Details

SharePoint’s attributes include document libraries, calendaring, lists, task assignment, workflow creation, access control, and many other tools.  See SharePoint for further details.

Getting Started

Departmental personnel can request a Sharepoint site through their Information Technology Coordinator (ITC), the departmental IT contact person in each college.  They will then make the request from OSU Information Technology.

SharePoint is available for individual use through their Office 365 account, i.e., their internet Cowboy Mail account.
