If you are a current OSU student who is still on the Exchange E-mail system, we suggest that you convert to Orange Mail or Cowboy Mail now. To sign up, copy and paste https://okey.okstate.edu into your web browser and login, click on E-mail Destination on the left menu and choose your e-mail option. NOTE: The next time you login to your O-Key account you will be required to convert before any other action can be taken. For more information and instructions, please visit the IT Resource Center at http://it.okstate.edu/rc and click on the Cowboy Mail or Orange Mail link.

D2L Upgrade
The Online Course Delivery Service, Desire2Learn, has been upgraded to the new version 9.1. D2L version 9.1 has many new features, including a new mobility feature. For more information about the upgrade, please visit the Online Classroom (D2L) Information Page.

Antivirus Solutions
Information Technology would like to remind users of the university’s new antivirus solutions: Forefront and Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE). Because OSU is no longer licensed for McAfee, any OSU-issued copies of McAfee should be replaced with these solutions. (Note: The Mac version of McAfee is still available on the Software Distribution Center.) For instructions on how to set up the software on your computer, please visit the Antivirus Resource Center. If you have any questions, please contact the IT Helpdesk at helpdesk@okstate.edu or (405) 744-HELP (4357).

New Wireless Network
A new wireless network called OSUSECURE is now available on the Stillwater campus. Users will login to the network with their O-Key username and password. When using the OSUSECURE network, users won’t have to authenticate again until their password expires or is updated. For more information, please visit the Wireless Network Resource Center. IT recommends users on the Stillwater campus who are currently using the OSUWIRELESS network to start using OSUSECURE. If you have any questions, please contact the IT Helpdesk at helpdesk@okstate.edu or (405) 744-HELP (4357).

New Secure Remote Access
Information Technology has implemented a new secure remote access service. This Web-based service will allow an employee or student to access resources on the OSU/A&M campuses in a secure manner. This service can be located at https://osuvpn.okstate.edu. The directions for using the application are located at the IT Resource Center. If you would like further information, please contact the IT Helpdesk at helpdesk@okstate.edu or (405) 744-HELP (4357).

Intelligent Agent for Faculty
Intelligent Agent is a feature for faculty in the Online Classroom that monitors a class to find activity that matches certain criteria that you set. You can use intelligent agents to e-mail users whose grades are below a certain level, check for users that have not logged in within a specific number of days and check for users that view a specific content topic. For instructions on how to set it up, click here. For questions, please contact the IT Helpdesk at helpdesk@okstate.edu or (405) 744-HELP (4357).

Different Ways to Connect
In order to continue its efforts to enhance security measures for the university, Information Technology has made two options available to connect to OSU resources: the VPN client and Terminal Services Gateway (TS Gateway). The VPN client is available to OSU employees only and can be found on the IT Software Distribution Web site. TS Gateway is a Web-based solution, and configuration on the workstation and connecting servers may be required. Information on the configuration can be found at the TS Gateway Resource Center. IT is available to help all employees and students with these solutions. Please contact the IT Helpdesk at (405) 744-HELP or helpdesk@okstate.edu for assistance.
