ePrint
ePrint is a technology used with administrative systems to “print” documents to a digital format for electronic storage and use.
Getting Started
Departments that use ePrint will instruct their personnel on how to use this technology.
Naming ePrint repositories
The general naming format for Banner repositories is <functional_area>_<vpdi>_<instance>.
Functional area refers to the module within Banner. VPDI refers to the campuses associated with the repository. Instance refers to which instance of Banner (Production/PROD, Pre-Production/PPRD, Test, or Development/DEVL).
For example, AR_OSU_Prod.
Please note that Banner Finance ePrint repositories do not have a VPDI, and may not contain an instance in the name.
Instead, Banner Finance ePrint repositories will include a chart of accounts, which may be 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, C, L, M, N, or P.
For example, Finance 1 or Finance 7 Test.
A Banner ePrint repository must start with one of the following functional areas:
- AR
- Finance
- Financial Aid
- General
- HR
- Payroll
- Student
A Legaxy ePrint repository must start with one of the following functional areas:
- BUDGET
- Data
- Eprint
- FAMS
- FRS
- HRS
- LMS
- NEOT
