O-Key administrators use global groups to manage access to services. Each person associated with OSU belong to a number of different global groups. Administrators assign access to the service by group rather than by individual. For example, software availability is different depending on whether a person is a student, staff, or faculty. Making assignments by groups makes providing correct access more efficient.
