related information to enable them to make informed decisions.
The Governance Risk and Compliance group offers multiple services including:
- Evaluating business processes, data handling and data management for risks
- Consultations are provided to determine security and compliance needs for complicated risk scenarios
- Review third party vendors to ensure compliance with university guidelines
Gramm Leach Bliley Act
The Gramm Leach Bliley Act (GLBA) is a law that requires financial institutions, or companies, that offer consumers financial products or services like loans, financial or investment advice, or insurance, to explain their information-sharing practices to their customers and to safeguard sensitive data.
GLBA Governing Body
The GLBA governing body, comprised of OSU representatives from the OSU A&M system, ensure OSU is compliant with all aspects of the GLBA.
