Any IDMS account holder has the ability to set up a preferred first name. Setting a preferred first name will hide your middle name in Office 365. It can also be useful in correcting your display name in Canvas if two last names are shown. To set up a preferred first name, the account holder may do so using the following instructions:

1. Log in to your institutions IDMS:

   • O-Key

   • C-Key

   • Gold Key

   • Aggie Access

   • Lion Key

2. Log into your personal OSU IDMS account.
   
   

3. Click on the Preferred First Name link on the left side of the page.

   
   
   

4. Type in a preferred first name.
   
   

5. Click the save button.
