You can block unwanted emails or make sure trusted senders always reach your inbox by managing blocked and allowed senders. Follow the steps below based on the version of Outlook (Office 365) you are using.
Outlook for Windows (Classic) Block a sender
Right-click the email.
Select Junk > Block Sender.
Manage blocked/allowed senders
Go to Home > Junk > Junk E-mail Options.
Use the Blocked Senders and Safe Senders tabs to add or remove addresses and domains.
Outlook on the Web (OWA) Block a sender
Open the email.
Click More actions (⋯) > Block
Manage blocked/allowed senders
Click the Settings gear > Mail > Junk email.
Add addresses or domains under Blocked senders and domains or Safe senders and domains.
Click Save.
Outlook for Mac Block a sender
Select the email.
Go to Message > Junk Mail > Block Sender or right-click and choose Junk Mail > Block Sender.
Manage blocked/allowed senders
Go to Tools > Junk Email Preferences.
Use the Blocked Senders and Safe Senders tabs to add or remove entries.
New Outlook for Windows Block a sender
Right-click the email.
Select Report > Report as Junk or Block.
Manage blocked/allowed senders
Go to Settings > Mail > Junk email.
Add entries under Blocked senders or Safe senders.
