Setting up Mac OS X Remote Desktop
These steps will walk you through configuring a Mac OS X computer for remote access and must be completed while you are at the computer. On the Mac that you want to connect to:

Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Sharing.

If Remote Management is selected, deselect it. You can’t have both Screen Sharing and Remote Management on at the same time.

Select the Screen Sharing checkbox.

Open Computer Setting and select VNC viewers control screen with password, enter in a password.

Allow Access for:

The following steps will depend if your Mac is bound to the OSU domain.

Click the back arrow to view System Preferences

Open Users & Groups

Select Login Options

Network Account Server: Join… - skip to the next section

Network Account Server: OSU - please continue.

After verifying the Mac is bound to a domain select Only these users:

Click on the + to add the person or group to have access

Select Network Users or Network Groups from the side panel

Then type in the name or group in the Search field

Once the name or group is displayed, highlight it and click Select

Under Screen Sharing: On, please copy the path that starts with VNC:// all the way to the last forward slash / you will need to enter this information on the Mac you will be connecting from.
