Steps:

Users experiencing issues logging in the Microsoft Teams desktop app on their machine may need to clear any Microsoft Teams credentials on the machine.

  1. Open the control panel app.

  2. In the control panel, locate and select the ‘Credential Manager’ setting.

  3. Click on the ‘Windows Credentials’ icon.

  4. Click on the drop-down arrow for all ‘teams’ items under the “Generic Credentials” section.

  5. Click ‘Remove’ on each Microsoft Teams credential.
