Students who activated their O-Key accounts prior to November 17, 2019 will have a OneDrive and G Suite Drive. All other students will only have access to OneDrive. OneDrive is a feature of Microsoft® Office 365™, and Google Drive is a part of G Suite offered by Google.

Details

Students get storage space in OneDrive, as a part of their Office 365 subscription. This is online cloud storage and can be accessed from a multitude of devices: Windows, Mac, via the web, and from a smart phone or a tablet.

 

Google Drive also provides storage space to users via G Suite from Google. This is online cloud storage and can be accessed from a multitude of devices: Windows, Mac, via the web, and from a smart phone or a tablet.

 

Getting Started

OneDrive

To access OneDrive on Windows, open File Explorer and locate OneDrive on the file list located on the left pane. You will need to sign in using your O-Key account.

 

To access OneDrive on Mac, download the OneDrive app from the App Store. Once it’s done downloading, sign into the app to view OneDrive in Finder.

 

To access on a smart phone or tablet download the OneDrive app. Once the app is downloaded, sign in to view your files.

For iOS, download from the App Store.

For Android, download from the Google Play Store.

Google Drive

To access Google Drive on Windows and Mac, download Google Drive. Once the download is complete, run the installation file. Open the Backup and Sync Application and sign into your Orange Mail account. You will now be able to access your files in Google Drive.

 

To access on a smart phone or tablet download the Google Drive app. Once the app is downloaded, sign in to view your files.

For iOS, download from the App Store.

For Android, download from the Google Play Store.

 

To access Google Drive via the web, go to orangemail.okstate.edu, click the Google apps icon in the top right, and select Drive.
